UrbanSenior living is committed to having residents make their own choices and remain independent as long as possible.

In many retirement communities residents’ choices are limited if they are required to participate in a mandatory meal program.  They may have to purchase one, two, or even three meals a day.  If they wish to go out for dinner with their family or friends at a local restaurant, they still have to pay for a meal at the retirement community.

All UrbanSenior living communities allow the resident to decide where they want to eat.  Meal programs are affordable, but they are not mandatory.

Often residents are required to accept one financial plan rather than having an option which works best for them.

UrbanSenior projects always offer two financial plans: a refundable entrance fee program and a rental plan.  The entrance fee program returns almost all the capital to the resident or their estate.  Residents are able to select the financial plan which is best for them.

At some point residents may lose the ability to drive to their bank, pharmacy, supermarket, beauty salon when they choose.  If they are unable to drive, these services may be too far away to safely or comfortably walk.  They may have to rely on public transportation or the van.  UrbanSenior communities allow them to have their freedom of choosing when and where they want to go.

UrbanSenior locations for independent senior living are carefully selected.  Options for shopping, socializing, eating, and remaining active in the community are all short walks.  This will guarantee that residents can continue to do the things they’ve done well into the future preserving their choices.
